The City of Broken Arrow is served by two public school systems: Broken Arrow Public Schools (BAPS) and Union Public Schools (UPS). Both districts are dedicated to sharing knowledge, inspiring innovative thinking, and preparing students for a lifetime of curiosity and success. The city also has several private schools, including parochial schools and a private, family-run school serving preschool through fifth-grade students.
Our education system readies students for the future. Our public schools partner with higher education and technical colleges to provide students with opportunities to learn trade skills and earn college credit while in high school.

Broken Arrow is home to a wide range of healthcare facilities and social services agencies, from full-service hospitals, primary doctors, specialty medicine clinics, nursing homes, home health care services, and outpatient surgery centers.
There are several hospitals within minutes of Broken Arrow’s city limits and the primary hospital is Ascension St. John Broken Arrow. This facility was recently awarded a five-star rating, the highest achievement level possible, from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Of the more than 4,500 hospitals evaluated nationwide by CMS, only 407 received a five-star rating.
