The city is connected to major highway infrastructure. State Highway 51 traverses Broken Arrow while the Creek Turnpike connects around the South and East sides of the city connecting residents to interstate 44 and Highway 169. Residents spend an average of 20 minutes commuting to work.

The city is located less than 30 minutes from the Tulsa Port of Catoosa, and less than 40 minutes from the Port of Muskogee making port access easy and affordable.

Located at the head of navigation for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Northeast Oklahoma, The Tulsa Port of Catoosa is one of the largest, most inland river-ports in the United States. Whether it’s agricultural commodities, building materials, petroleum products or machinery, it can be shipped in an out of the Tulsa Port of Catoosa daily using a combination of barge, rail and truck.

The Port of Muskogee is located near the confluence of the Arkansas, Verdigris and Grand Rivers, in the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, linking Oklahoma with inland ports on the Ohio, Illinois and Mississippi Rivers, and sea ports around the world, via the Gulf of Mexico.

Broken Arrow is crossed diagonally by Union Pacific rail that services many companies throughout Broken Arrow and the greater Tulsa Region.
