When global manufacturing leader Zeeco, Inc. chose Broken Arrow for its newest expansion, it marked more than just construction on a site — it signaled confidence in this community’s workforce, business climate, and long-term economic potential.
In May 2025, Zeeco broke ground on a 200,000-square-foot expansion at its Global Technology Center in Broken Arrow. The project will modernize the facility with state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, significantly increase production capacity, and support Zeeco’s growing global demand for advanced combustion and environmental solutions.
This investment will bring more than 50 new jobs to the area, boosting Zeeco’s local workforce to over 200 employees. These roles span advanced manufacturing, engineering support, and technical operations, offering strong career pathways for residents and reinforcing Broken Arrow’s position as a hub for high-skill industrial work.
“Over our 46-year history, this facility has expanded as our business has grown, but nothing like what we’re doing today,” said Zeeco CEO, Darton Zink, at the groundbreaking event. “We’re bringing in advanced and state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment to modernize the facility and bring it up to the standards we’ve set for our other six in-house manufacturing facilities around the world.”
Originally commissioned in 1979, the facility has evolved into a global innovation hub, home to the world’s largest combustion research and test center and Zeeco’s Advanced Research Complex. This expansion will further solidify Broken Arrow’s role as a leader in advanced manufacturing and technology.

The expansion is the result of strategic partnership between Zeeco, the City of Broken Arrow, and local and state economic development leaders.
