Rooster Days rescheduled for Labor Day weekend
BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce has rescheduled Rooster Days for Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3-6, amid coronavirus concerns.
The event was originally scheduled for May 7-10.
The chamber released this statement:
“We are all having to make difficult decisions in this time. As we all pray and hope that the closures are not necessary through May, the Broken Arrow Chamber does not feel it would be wise to encourage the gathering of this size even if the restrictions are lifted by May. We expect that in September we will be able to come together as a community and celebrate what we have overcome,” states Jennifer Conway, President and CEO of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce and EDC.
