The mission of the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation is clear: to foster an environment where businesses and entrepreneurs grow, talent thrives, and innovation flourishes, strengthening the long-term prosperity of our community. The progress highlighted in this report reflects that mission in action.
Over the past year, our focus has remained clear: strengthening the foundations of a competitive and resilient economy. Through business expansion and attraction, workforce development, talent initiatives, innovation, and entrepreneurship, we are advancing an environment where companies invest and grow, people build meaningful careers, and new ideas take root.
That work is producing results. Companies are expanding in Broken Arrow, and others are choosing to invest and grow here. Students are discovering career pathways that lead to opportunity. Entrepreneurs are turning ideas into impact. These outcomes are driven by intentional strategy, disciplined execution, and strong partnerships among our business community, the City of Broken Arrow, and our education partners.
I am grateful for the leadership of our board, the confidence of our investors, and the collaboration of our many partners. Together, we are building momentum and shaping a strong and sustainable future for Broken Arrow.

2025 END OF YEAR IMPACT
This year was not incremental. It was transformational.
In 2025 alone, Broken Arrow generated $125 million in private capital investment and 452 new jobs, reinforcing our city’s strength as a destination for growth, opportunity, and long term success.
Since the launch of Amplify Broken Arrow, the results have surpassed even our most ambitious expectations:
- $418 million in total capital investment
Goal: $150 million - 2,525 new jobs created
Goal: 1,000 new jobs

TALENT ATTRACTION
Connecting employers to talent remains central to Broken Arrow’s growth strategy.
Career Fairs
Two career fairs brought together 34 employers and 340 job seekers, marking a 51% increase from 2024 and expanding direct hiring opportunities across multiple industries.
Dedicated Employer Hiring Event
A targeted hiring event connected 50 job seekers to one employer, resulting in 9 same-day job offers. As the employer shared, “we did a month’s worth of recruiting in 4 hours.”
Out-of-State Talent Recruitment
At the Texas A&M University Engineering Career Fair, our team engaged 196 students to showcase career opportunities in Broken Arrow and support a local company planning to add 150 new jobs over three years through a strategic marketing and recruitment campaign.
Career Awareness & Industry Promotion
Virtual reality career awareness videos were released highlighting:
- Healthcare at Ascension St. John Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Fire Department
- Manufacturing at Zeeco, Inc.
These immersive experiences are introducing students and job seekers to high-demand careers in new, engaging ways.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
Preparing the next generation workforce is an investment in Broken Arrow’s long-term competitiveness.
Healthcare Career Day
3,000 students engaged with healthcare professionals and employers to explore career pathways.
Manufacturing Career Day
2,600 students experienced hands-on exposure to advanced manufacturing careers.
Summer STEM Camp
In partnership with 10 employers, 17 students participated in immersive, real-world STEM experiences. Participating employers included:

“When students can see these careers up close, it shifts their perspective,” shared De’Andre Fahie, Director of Workforce Development & Talent Attraction. “They begin to picture themselves in those roles.”
STEM Engagement
At the Northeastern State University STEM Open House, 55 students connected with industry representatives and explored future opportunities in science and technology fields.
BUSINESS ATTRACTION, RETENTION, & EXPANSION
Broken Arrow continues to compete and win on a national and international stage.
State Funding Programs
Nine Broken Arrow companies were awarded $1.12 million through the Oklahoma Innovation Expansion Program, supporting local growth and capital investment.
Major Expansions & Projects
- Zeeco broke ground on a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing expansion, bringing 50 new jobs.
- Solar Turbines completed a 22,000-square-foot expansion, adding 29 new jobs.
Business Retention & Attraction Outreach
- 160 Business Retention and Expansion meetings conducted
- Responded to 17 Requests For Proposals
- Hosted 6 Site Visits
Strategic Marketing & Global Outreach
- The International Economic Development Council awarded a Gold Excellence in Economic Development Award for Grounds for Development, recognizing innovation and measurable impact.
- Marketing trips to New York City, Northern California, and Southern California
- 90 meetings over four days at the International Paris Air Show
“Every conversation is an opportunity,” said Amber Miller, Vice President of Economic Development. “You never know which meeting will become the next announcement.”
These efforts position Broken Arrow as a competitive destination for aerospace, energy, advanced manufacturing, and innovation-driven industries.
ARROW FORGE INNOVATION DISTRICT
The Arrow Forge Innovation District, moved from vision to visible progress.
CSI Aerospace was announced as the anchor tenant, strengthening Broken Arrow’s aerospace ecosystem and reinforcing our competitive advantage in advanced manufacturing.
Critical planning milestones were achieved with rezoning from Agriculture to Light Industrial and a Comprehensive Plan amendment from Level 3 to Level 7. These approvals accelerate readiness and signal to the market that Broken Arrow is prepared for transformational investment.
We are building the foundation for the next generation of industry.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP ECOSYSTEM
A strong economy does not rely on a single sector. It thrives on innovation at every level.
On September 10, 1 Million Cups Broken Arrow launched and quickly became a hub of weekly connection, with 243 cups of coffee shared in 2025. Founders presented ideas, received feedback, and built lasting relationships.
“Entrepreneurship is about community,” shared Bradley Sheofee, Director of Business Retention, Expansion, and Entrepreneurship. “When founders know they are supported, they grow with confidence.”
In addition, 48 one on one support meetings provided hands on guidance to local entrepreneurs navigating growth, funding, and strategy.
