Broken Arrow Takes Flight on the Global Stage at the 2025 Paris Air Show
The Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation (BAEDC) proudly represented the city on an international stage at the 2025 International Paris Air Show, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious aerospace exhibitions.
Held at Le Bourget Airport in Paris, France, the show brings together aerospace leaders, manufacturers, innovators, and government officials from across the globe to exchange ideas, forge partnerships, and showcase the future of aviation and space technology.
BAEDC President & CEO James Bell and Vice President of Economic Development Amber Miller joined a robust Oklahoma delegation organized by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. The delegation included 11 aerospace and defense companies, 3 economic development organizations, 2 state agencies, and 3 higher education institutions, all united under one mission: to spotlight Oklahoma’s aerospace strength and attract international investment.
Promoting Broken Arrow’s Aerospace Ecosystem
While BAEDC was part of the larger Oklahoma booth, the team brought a clear and targeted message about Broken Arrow’s growing role in aerospace and advanced manufacturing. Through meetings with global companies, industry decision-makers, and trade representatives, BAEDC promoted the city’s strategic advantages, including:
Proximity to aerospace hubs and a strong local supply chain
Available industrial sites and shovel-ready development land
Skilled workforce and technical training pipelines
A pro-business climate and responsive local government
“This event was an incredible opportunity to put Broken Arrow on the radar of global aerospace leaders,” said James Bell. “We’re proud to represent our city as a competitive, capable, and connected location for advanced manufacturing and aviation-related investment.”
Building Connections, Driving Opportunity
Over the course of the week, the BAEDC team participated in targeted B2B meetings, engaged in networking sessions, and supported the state’s efforts to showcase Oklahoma as a top-tier destination for aerospace companies.
“These kinds of international engagements aren’t just about visibility, they’re about relationships,” said Amber Miller. “We’re coming home with meaningful leads and new connections that could translate into long-term growth for Broken Arrow.”
What’s Next?
With the Paris Air Show behind them, BAEDC will continue nurturing the connections made in Paris and following up with interested companies and site selectors. The team remains focused on bringing new opportunities to Broken Arrow while supporting the existing businesses that make the city thrive.
