Recapping an Inspiring Week at the 2025 Broken Arrow Summer STEM Camp

In June, the Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with Tulsa Tech, hosted the 2025 Summer STEM Camp. This five-day experience is designed to introduce local high school students to high-demand careers in healthcare and manufacturing.

Throughout the week, students participated in hands-on activities, toured active workplaces, and spoke directly with professionals across Broken Arrow. From fire stations and hospitals to manufacturing floors and utility yards, each visit offered a unique behind-the-scenes look into the careers that power our community.

What stood out most? The students themselves. Their energy, thoughtful questions, and genuine interest impressed every employer they met, and reminded us why investing in workforce development at the student level is so important.
